The architect's name is Calatrava, and I recommend taking a look at some of his projects. I actually recently visited one of his works, without knowing whose it was at the time, and it was sheer brilliance.

Those are from the "City of Arts and Sciences" in Valencia, Spain. His website is http://www.calatrava.com . The project I had visited is the Milwaukee Art Museum, definitely a more reasonable trip from Syracuse.
